Birthday Parties in Bloomington, IN
Planning a birthday around an escape room, from picking a room to what happens after.
A birthday needs a thing that happens, not just a place where people stand around. An hour with a clock on it does that work for you.
Why it works
Everybody is involved, nobody has to be athletic or good at trivia, and there’s a natural photo at the end. The game runs 60 minutes — long enough to feel like an event, short enough to leave room for dinner after.
Kids and teens
Our rooms contain no scary or horror content and are suitable for all ages. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 10 and under join their family free; ages 11 and up pay full price.
Which room
DaVinci’s Workshop (5/10) for a mixed-age or first-time group. Tiny House of Horrors or The Stolen Artifact (both 7/10, both up to eight players) if the group is competitive. Note that Tiny House uses light and sound effects.
Bigger parties
For 17 or more guests Sunday through Thursday there are discounted rates, and for 24 or more we build a custom schedule. Tell us what you’re planning.
The one logistical thing
Ask everyone to arrive early. Games start exactly on time, and the birthday person should not be the one outside circling for parking.
